Our Story
Tracye Turner, the founder and president of e-GovMarket, has an award-winning career in information Technology. Early on as an entrepreneur at Northrop Grumman IT, Ms. Turner led cutting-edge federal IT enterprise projects through the development of complex product integrations. Award-winning projects included the U.S. Veteran’s Affairs’ first telemedicine pilot, the Smithsonian’s interactive displays at the Dulles Air and Space Museum, the security and management of the data and network systems for the 2000 Census Decennial and the enterprise systems for the auctioning of airwaves for the Federal Communications Commission. She received several President’s Circle awards and also “Total Solutions Person of the Year.”
At Optimal Solutions Group, LLC in College Park, Maryland, Ms. Turner founded the company’s Entrepreneurship & Innovation Center which houses the analytics and software groups. Her team has integrated and developed several commercial software products designed to enable a real-time framework in public policy.
Ms. Turner also volunteered on the University of Maryland’s Board of Trustees and the University System of Maryland’s Board of Regents where she participated in technology and commercialization committees. Most recently, Ms. Turner has been appointed to serve on the UMCP iSchool Advisory Board, the State of Maryland E-Nnovation Authority and the TEDCO Maryland Innovative Initiative.
